I think I need a 'macro' lens

 I love doing close-up photography, especially of spider webs and insects - using the macro setting on my digital I have managed some good photos, but it would be lovely to have a lens to help me take even better photos - Hmm Santa - what do you think?
Tomorrow night (Tuesday) is the photo awards night - I  can't wait to see our pictures hanging up with all the others.

I also think that I need a macro lens but my Santa has spent so much money on me this year that he gets a break this Christmas I think! lol I purchased some macro filters, I think I paid about $12 for a set of four, the set includes a 1x, 2x, 4x and 10x lens, they work not too bad but I still want a macro lens. Soon enough I'll be finished being a student and working, then I'll be able to buy whatever my heart desires... well almost! :-)

I hope you take photos of your special night, I'd love to see it.
