Winner

Okay first of all to answer Darlene's question - NaNoWriMo - is National Novel Writing Month and is held every November - it is a non-profit organisation that encourages people to write. Check out this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Novel_Writing_Month

This is now my 3rd year and I have just successfully submitted my novel for verification - (50 000 words +) in their word count verifier - that is all you have to do to win.

This year I am well over with over 60 000 words, but sadly no ending :(

I have put out a plea on Facebook - for help. I need an ending - so post a comment here and give me an ending - nevermind if you haven't read my book (or even book 1 & 2), just give me an idea; any idea for an ending - who knows it just might spark a really creative idea for me.

As not only do I have a sore throat and laryngits, but also writer's block - Grrr!

So all help and ideas are welcome.

But, the good news is that "I am a Winner" and the novel will be finished.
Thank you everyone for your support through another fun November.

Remember NaNoWriMo is open to everyone, so come and join me next November.

Outstanding! And that amidst a crazy hectic busy month than ended with you being sick as well! Awesome achievement. Really looking forward to reading your book - ending or no ending. :) Get some rest, and I'm sure you will get some great inspiration from your fellow NaNoWriMo writers as well. Well done!

Congratulations, Beverly!

I do wonder if you will begin a NEW series in 2012 or if you will 'change it up' completely and go for a 'less busy' life with a series of short stories or something else?

I am looking forward to seeing all 3 books published! Oh, and READING them!! :)

WTG Beverly, this is fantastic news! You have so much drive and dedication to your writing you deserve an award. I only wish I could suggest some endings, I haven't had time to say ahead of my game on this end here. Too bad I didn't know about this NaNoWriMo thing sooner, I'm sure I've well exceeded 50,000 words... or does it all have to be on one topic? I'll go and check out the site once I'm back at home, I'm at the uni right now waiting for the next class to begin... I'd best get there from the looks of the time.

You take care, I hope you're resting enough, taking lots of vitamins, eating chicken soup or whatever helps you get better soon!

How about an ending with something to do with the floods, which carried so many innocent people away, This could then perhaps lead into another book for your characters who could still be around, some never to succeed and others who have such strengh will survive no matter what. Anyway just a quick idea at 6.50am in the morning.
Well done, hope you are better today.

Thanks everyone - you have all been so good in sharing your comments and ideas with me. Am still not feeling my best - a visit to the doctor is required I think.
And yes, I now have an idea.
